Line-of-Sight
Stabilization
|
These
sensors worked on-orbit in the space environment for
more than 2 years, demonstrating durability in extreme
environments.
Since
that time, ATA has manufactured sensors with much higher
sensitivity and lower noise that find applications in
stabilization of the highest precision camera and
line-of-sight instruments. Current sensors have the
ability to measure to levels below 40 nanoradians over a
1 to 1,000Hz bandwidth. These superior vibration
sensors, like the ARS-12, are designed for applications
that include electronic or optical image correction
based on high sensitivity vibration analysis, and
platform stabilization using dynamic suspension systems.
Uses include medical imaging communications links,
surveillance systems, precision machinery monitoring,
and space imaging.
