Government Services
The ATA Government Services Division provides support to government
agencies in areas of scientific research and technology development,
experimentation, training, and test and evaluation. This group
operates from ATA facilities on Kirtland AFB, New Mexico and operates a
facility at North Oscura Peak, White Sands Missile Range, NM. In
addition, ATA staff supports technology development, experimentation and
support services at other sites around the world as required. |

Motion Control Systems
ATA
develops custom precision motion control systems with specialization in
pointing and tracking. The company has developed systems to
demonstrate laser tracking of moving targets such as that for the High
Altitude Balloon Program (HABE) which combined our technical expertise in
lasers and optics, real time controls, gimbal systems, and sensors.
We also create tracking systems for large telescopes such as the facility
at NOP, and provide training and operations support to our customers. |

Optical
Measurements & Imaging Systems
ATA scientist and
engineers support a variety of programs conducting research into optical
sensors, adaptive optics for laser systems, adaptive optics and MEMS
adaptive optics, and multi-spectral metrology systems. |
 |
|
|
Space and Airborne Surveillance
ATA works in areas
of multi-spectral and polarimetric technologies for long stand-off target
discrimination & classification, the use of laser illumination for
chemical detection, and the development of optical tags for marking
objects of interest. Ata works with both active and passive illumination
systems.
